Allen King Bio

Allen is one of the most energetic guys God ever made! Born and raised in Birmingham, AL, Allen grew up the oldest of four boys. Although an avid outdoorsman, great athlete, successful student, and loyal friend, Allen’s heart for the Lord has led him into leading others into worship. He currently leads a band that leads worship weekly at Campus Crusade at the University of Alabama. He has also led worship with Birmingham and Tuscaloosa area churches and with Outback America Ministries.

Allen and band have just released a worship CD “All Praise to God” (link to the store) and was also featured on the “Call My Home” album (another link to album in store) produced by Bigtime Ministries.

Allen is an accomplished guitarist and is a talented songwriter. He has spent several summers working at Alpine Camp for Boys in Mentone, AL. He’ll be interning this summer with the Student Ministry at Cathedral Church of the Advent in Birmingham, AL and traveling to lead worship!
