Andrew's Bio
Although i was born in Wichita Falls, TX, i grew up in Birmingham and despite my best efforts ended up calling it home. i went to Mississippi State University in the booming metropolis of Starkville, MS for my degree in Biology. After State i came back to Birmingham and started my Master's in Environmental Management at Samford along with my first big boy job at the Birmingham Zoo. About halfway through the program at Samford it sunk in that God was calling me to the ministry. i began looking for a seminary, and after graduating set out for Truett Seminary in Waco. Throughout that time i've had the privilege to travel to Mexico, Honduras, Peru, Haiti, and all over the US to do mission work. My wife and i moved back to Birmingham in August to set up shop and so she could go back to school at UAB, where she's currently working on her degree in Education.
i began working with youth as a peer minister while i was in the youth group myself, and i became a full fledged youth chaperone the weekend after i graduated high school. Since then i've gotten involved wherever i went as a Bible Study, Dnow, and small group leader, counselor at both Kanakuk and Camp Ozark as well as Children's Camp Pastor. i've been a part time Youth Minister, a full time volunteer, and all around Swiss Army Knife for students wherever i go.
